Grey Starts Preschool!

This is Grey's last year of preschool at Preschool Pals!!

His back-to-school book was "How Do Dinosaurs Go To School?"

Yep..It is cool.

A pirate backpack, motorcycle shirt and dinosaur book...Grey is excited to go!

First Grade, No Training Wheels, Cousins, a LONG post ....we're busy!

Morning of the first day of school! Maddy reads her book for 1st grade. (We give the kids a new book on the first day of school...) Her book is "The Hair of Zoe Fleefenbacher Goes to School."
It is about a teacher and student learning to work together and use their talents in school.
**Maddy asked for her hair to look "like Sandy from Grease." ;-)

They are good friends...this morning.

This month has been busy....but good!

Road Trip to St. George with Mom (part 1)

Mom and the kids drove down to St. George for a few days, picking up Emmy on the way in Cedar as Aunt Michelle just had baby Kate 2 weeks ago! On our way down we came across acres and acres of lavender in bloom at the Young Family Living Farm in Mona, Utah.
It was pretty amazing and the color was beautiful!

We stopped by and found that for $15 we could cut a huge sheaf of lavender in the field.
The kids thought this was so fun and loved the smell!

On our way... the kids are excited to see the other baby in St. George,
5 wk. old baby Dawson. (and yes, they are excited to swim swim swim!)

At the Green Show (Shakes. Festival) Grey & Emmy danced the whole time.

The Jamboree Car Show was literally right in front of Grammy & Papa's house!!!
(*We heard big engines and came out in P.J.'s to a show of vintage cars.)
